At Joglo Omah Kempalan, we started our journey to create a mountain hideaway over a decade ago. We were inspired by the breathtaking views of Gunung Pancar and Bukit Paniisan during a weekend trip to Sentul. Our dream was to create a place that offers a relaxing atmosphere that allows us to step away from the daily stresses of life, and share it with like-minded people.
We are excited to welcome guests to Joglo Omah Kempalan. Our retreat blends Indonesian tradition with modern comforts, providing an unforgettable experience for all who visit. We take pride in seeing our guests build new memories and connect with each other in this natural environment.

A Private Mountain Hideaway in Sentul
Escape to our private hideaway, nestled in the mountains of Sentul, with uninterrupted views of Gunung Pancar and Bukit Paniisan from our large terrace. Situated on the edge of the traditional village of Babakan Ngantay, our villa offers a unique blend of authentic Javanese countryside charm and modern comfort.
At the heart of the villa is the main Joglo, which features two air-conditioned bedrooms. Four additional guesthouses with AC and each their own private bathroom and porch, offer their own unique charm and amenities, providing extra space and privacy for larger groups. Omah Kempalan comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests, with the option to accommodate up to 20, using additional foldable beds.
At 450 meters above sea level, our retreat offers refreshing air and pleasant temperatures throughout the day, transitioning into cool, comfortable evenings and nights.
While a one-night stay is possible, we highly recommend extending your visit to truly experience the tranquility and beauty of our surroundings. Take advantage of nearby attractions like natural hot springs, stunning waterfalls, and Sentul's only cave, Goa Garunggang.
