Yes, we offer laundry service for an additional charge, so you don’t have to worry about washing your clothes during your stay.

We do not provide dental kits, as most of our guests arrive in groups. We recommend bringing your own toiletries and dental hygiene products. However, if needed, our staff can assist you in purchasing essentials from nearby mini markets at the bottom of the mountain.

Omah Kempalan has a strict non-smoking policy inside the rooms, because everything is wood and flamable. However, smoking is allowed on the terrace and porches, or in designated areas. Please be considerate of other guests' comfort and dispose of cigarette waste properly in ashtrays that will be provided upon request.

Yes, there are mosquitoes, but they tend to be more active around sunset. However, thanks to the villa's higher altitude, there are fewer mosquitoes compared to sea-level locations. We still recommend using bug repellent for added comfort, especially in the evenings.

We offer complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the property and each room as TV. However, we encourage you to unplug, be present, and fully enjoy the moment—whether it's relaxing, unwinding, or spending quality time with friends and family.

We love animals, but to ensure the safety and comfort of all guests and Muslim staff, pets are not allowed at Omah Kempalan We reserve the right to refuse check-in to guests who bring pets, and no refunds will be issued in such cases.

Yes, we have a swimming pool! It measures 9x3 meters and features both a shallow and a deeper side. However, please note that the safety of both children and adults is the sole responsibility of our guests. Children must always have adult supervision while in or around the pool.

Yes, guests are welcome to bring snacks and beverages to their rooms. However, Omah Kempalan follows a strict clean-your-garbage policy. Please ensure that all waste, including snack wrappers, food leftovers, is disposed of in the designated trash bins. Littering is not allowed in any area.

Additionally, eating in bed is strictly forbidden to prevent stains on our bed linens—no matter how cozy it may be, especially for kids. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our space clean and comfortable for all guests.

The travel time to Omah Kempalan depends on your starting point. From Jakarta,and Soekarna Hatta International Airport it takes approximately 1.5 hours by car, depending on traffic. The villa is accessible via a well-paved road, suitable for most vehicles. Please bear in mind that the last 5km are using narrower mountain roads. 

As a small resort, short-notice cancellations significantly impact us.

Cancellation Policy:

• The 50% deposit is non-refundable
• Full payment is required 1 week before arrival.
• No refunds for cancellations made less than 1 week before arrival.

Arrival date changes must be requested at least 2 weeks in advance, with a one-time change limit (subject to availability).

We currently offer two payment methods:

1️⃣ Accommodation: Payment is accepted only via bank transfer.

2️⃣ Incidental Charges: Payment can be made via bank transfer (full amount, no deductions, before check-out) or cash.

Important Notes:

• We do not accept debit/credit cards or traveler’s cheques.
• All bank transfers must be in full, with any transfer fees covered by the guest.
• All transactions are in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR).
• Payments in other currencies will be converted based on our bank’s exchange rate at the time of payment.

The nearest convenience stores are about 15 minutes away, so we recommend bringing any essentials you may need during your stay. However, in case of an emergency, our staff will be happy to assist you in purchasing necessary items. While Aeon Mall is approximately 20 minutes, most of our guests are happy to keep themselves entertained in or around the villa and enjoy the nature. 

Blackouts are rare but can occasionally happen. In such cases, we have a backup generator that provides 4,500 watts of power for 4-5 hours, ensuring that all lights and essential appliances remain operational for your comfort.

In case of a medical emergency, Eka Hospital in Sentul City is the nearest facility, approximately 20 minutes away, depending on traffic. We recommend bringing any necessary medications, but our staff is available to assist if urgent medical care is needed. Please be mndful that our staff does not have driver licenses.

There are limited restaurant options nearby. While Amerta is just 500m across the valley, the area is mostly surrounded by local warungs.

However, one of the most highly praised aspects of Omah Kempalan is the delicious homemade food prepared by our dedicated Sundanese chef, Teh Omah. She is happy to serve authentic local delights from our house menu, and catering or BBQ can be arranged with advance notice.

For additional options, Gojek (motorbike taxis) can deliver food from restaurants at the bottom of the mountain during the day, and Taman Budaya is about 20 minutes away, depending on traffic.

We highly recommend purchasing a comprehensive (travel) insurance policy before your visit. Please ensure that you and your companions are fully covered for illness, injury, medical evacuation, loss of baggage, personal belongings, flight and accommodation cancellations, and other unexpected travel contingencies, including Force Majeure, during your stay at Omah Kempalan
